Today I’m sharing a fantastic find close to Bukchon Hanok Village in Seoul! If you’re looking for an authentic Korean meal in a charming location, this little gem is a must-try.
Located just a 4-minute walk from Anguk Station, this restaurant is a local favorite that I discovered thanks to a Korean friend’s recommendation. We went for lunch on a regular weekday, and they had a special lunch set menu available (it seems the lunch and dinner options might differ slightly).

For around $10,000 won, I got a complete traditional Korean meal: boiled pork belly with preserved vegetables, daily soup, and steamed rice. The pork belly was the star of the show – incredibly tender and with a hint of sweetness. The combination of flavors with the vegetables and rice was simply amazing!
They have also a course menu that you can try 5 dishes for 28,000 won per person.

Overall, the food was incredibly delicious and refreshingly light, not greasy at all, which can be rare for some Korean dishes. It’s no wonder this place is so popular! And you can also try the white Kimchi, that’s a non spicy (but delicious) option!

Bonus Tip: After exploring the majestic Gyeongbokgung Palace nearby, head to this restaurant for lunch in a Hanbok (traditional Korean clothing) for an even more immersive cultural experience! Imagine the atmosphere!
